THE
BATTLE IS ON, two of the most feared money
game player will try to display their skills
in the pool table when the much awaited
Yang-Orcollo race-to-60, 9-ball duel gets
underway tomorrow, Thursday, April 12 at
the Trade Hall of Gateway Mall in Araneta
Center, Cubao, Quezon City.
“Robocop”
Dennis Orcollo will face “The Son
of Pool” Yang Shin-chun dubbed as
“The Richest Game of Asia” will
be aired by Solar Sports organized by Bugsy
Promotion and Rocketman Enterprises in close
cooperation with San Miguel Beer, BSCP chair
Yen Makabenta and sports advocate Ariel
Inton.
“
Talagang pinaghandaan ko ito at excited
ako na makalaban si Yang kasi hindi pa kami
naghaharap sa tournament o maging sa money
game.” said the 28-years-old Orcollo.
“ Hope ipagdasal ninyo po ako.”
he added.
The
Orcollo-Yang un official’s money game
king showdown at stake $10,000 in the winner’s
break format where Brunswick table is the
official billiard table in the three-day
event (April 12, 13 and 14) also backed
up by PCSO and Motolite.
Orcollo,
who is now residing in Quezon City finished
runner-up in the 2007 World 8-ball in, Fujairah,
United Arab Emirates and settling third
place finish in the 2nd BSCP National Pool
Championships at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium
in Malate, Manila, recently.
The
28-years-old Yang is the back to back 2005-2006
Super Cup champion in Taiwan.
Both
player have not yet hold a world pool champion
title belt. Yang is the 1998 and 2002 Asian
games 9-ball gold medallist while Orcollo
is the 2006 World Pool Leaque 9-ball ruler.
Yang
along with his enterpreter Robert Huang,
board member of WPBA (World Pool Billiard
Association) is schedule to arrive today,
April 11, Wednesday, in the country then
immediately press conference will be held
at the Ferdinandina 88 suite, infront of
Ali Mall in Cubao, Quezon City.
