APOLINARIO Santalisis and Mel Tan head the top-notch roster of players vying for top honors in the 10^th Larry Dumadag Chess Cup gets going on Saturday, July 25, 10 am at the Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School Gymnasium in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

Others seeing action are Leonardo Navarro, Geron Bas-Ong, Francis Panlilio, Vic Brillantes, Aurel Bautista, Kevin Labog, Jamie and Himmler Manzano, Marlo Balas, RJ and Jessen Navarrete, Romualdo Silao.

The event originally opens last July 18 but due to heavy rain and Typhoon Isang, the organizing committee force to reset a new schedule.

The tournament prizes distribution as follows: Champion - PhP 5,000.00 + trophy • 2ndPlace - PhP 3,000.00 • 3rd Place - PhP 2,000.00 • 4th Place - PhP 1,000.00 • 5th Place - PhP 500.00 • 6th – 10th Place - PhP 300.00 each

Top KIddies • 1st Place - PhP 500.00 + trophy • 2nd Place - PhP 400.00 + medal • 3rd Place - PhP 300.00 + medal.
