PINOY LALIC TOPS CALIFORNIA 9-BALL; POCKETS $1,000

FILIPINO Daly-City based Allen Lalic defeated American Mike Peregov, 9-2, in the finals to rules the just ended 2nd World Professional Pool Association 9-Ball shoot-out at the California Billiards in Mountain View, California, USA.
The 21-year-old Lalic, who hails from Macabebe, Pampanga received the top prize of $1,000 according to Filipino spokesperson Ramon “Maestro Moching” Mistica.
On the roads to the finals, Lalic whose stint here is being supported by Jeff Presnosa of Team Predator also bested June Padua ,8 3, Deo Mark Alpajora, 8 6, Elmer Diwa, 8 5, CJ Robinson, 8 4 and Frank Nordmann, 8 6.
Other participants are John Mark Hernandez,Shawn Munoz,Levy Lampaan,Jaynard Orque and Eduardo Ramos.
