G4 CHESS CLUB CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS TOURNEY GETS GOING

THE g4 Chess Club Semi-Standard Time Control Chess Championships gets underway on December 28 and 29 at the g4 Chess Club (behind old Aura College), 14th St.East Tapinac, Olongapo City.

The two-day tournament is open to all Master, Non-Master and Unrated Players with NCFP Standard Rating of 2100 below as of October 1, 2009.

This tournament will offer the following prizes: Champion - P 5000 + Shoes + Trophy
2nd - P 2500 + Shoes + Trophy ; 3rd - P 1500 + Shoes + Trophy ; 4th - P 700
and 5th - P 300.

Category Winners: Top Local Player - P 2000 + Hi-tec Shoes ; Top College - P 500
Top High School - P 500 ; Top Senior - P 500; Top Women - P 500 ; Top Elementary (Boys) - P 250 + Medal and Top Elementary (Girls) - P 250 + Medal

There will be a raffle draw to the lucky participants who will join the rapid tournament four ( 4 ) pair of shoes ( each worth P 3,500), chess sets and Chess Clock awaiting to the lucky winners.

Adult - P 300 ( Non-Olongapo players )
Adult Players - P 200 ( for Olongapo players )
College Student - P 120(for Olongapo players) / P 250 Non-Olongapo
High School Student - P 100(for Olongapo players) /P 200 Non-Olongapo
Elementary Student - P 50(for Olongapo players) / P 100 Non- Olongapo
