FILIPINO Loren Brigham Laceste swept all of his matches to rules the British Columbia Provincial Chess Championship K-12 last April 11 at the Delta Airport Hotel in British Columbia, Vancouver Canada.
The North Vancouver based Laceste, who hails from Damortis, Santo Tomas, La Union province collected a total perfect 5 points.
The former Letran College standout Laceste bested Tian Tian Geng, Anderson Yee, Tomas Chow, Marko Mirtovic, and Martin Wong, respectively.
“He (Loren Brigham) will be going to Montreal Canada next month May 22-23 to represent British Columbia.” said Melchor Laceste, father of Loren Brigham in a long-distance interview yesterday.
