6TH and FINAL LEG OF CRITERIUM RACE-SIGAW NG KALIKASAN AT TIENDESITAS IS ALL SET TOMORROW

THE excitement builds up for the 6th. and final leg of the CRITERIUM RACE-SIGAW NG KALIKSAN 2009, tomorrow, Sunday September 27 at Pasig City – Around Tiendesitas grounds , as organizer North Star Sports in cooperation with the United Cyclist Association of the Philippines continues the mission to create an awareness campaign for climate change , the most precarious  challenge of our time if not given enough priority to mitigate could destroy mother nature through the sports of cycling.

The route and venue for the race will start and finish in front of  Tiendesitas E. Rodriguez Ave. (C5) will turn right to Julia Vargas Ave. to Lanuza Ave. to Ortigas Ave. and back to E. Rodriguez Ave.

Each division : Master A age 49 years and above, Master B 48 years and below, Executives (open) and the Elite ( Pro and Ex-Pro ) Division will have atleast a 35 minutes race plus 3 rounds of the circuit to race.
The top 5 winners  of the each division will move up to the finals and will represent the City of Pasig during the Grand Finals scheduled Mid October of the 2009. And will be proclaimed “King of the Criterium Race-Sigaw ng Kalikasan 2009”. Other cities that will be represented during the Grand Finals are: Quezon City, Caloocan, Pasay City, Manila, and Makati.

Supporters and benefactors of the races are: San Miguel Beer, Magnolia, Spyder Helmets and Eyewear, Readycon, Outlast Battery, Sports Resource Inc., - distributors of Polar Watch, Eusebio Back Packs, V-Can, I-Pure ,Pulse Rate Ring. And Air21, the foremost supporter of cycling in the Philippines.
