ALL roads lead to Paranaque when the 4th leg NCFP director Manuel Relorcasa Age-Group Chess Championship begins today, Saturday, September 26, 2009 10:00am at 4th Floor Perez Building, Dona Soledad cor. Australia Sts., Better Living, Parañaque City. The event is organized by Director Relorcasa in coordination with Bureau of Customs Chess Club (BOC) and Dr. Bong Perez, Adviser of Barangay Don Bosco Chess Club (BDBCC). This project of Atty. Relorcasa is part of his move to support the program of Prospero “Butch” Pichay Jr., President of the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP).

The first three legs went to Celebrity Sports Plaza-Quezon City, Makati Chess Club-Knights of Columbus, Bel-Air Makati City and Ugong Chess Club at Pasig City. The tournament is divided in two category; 14 Years Old Under & 10 Years Old Under: Prizes of each category will receive P 1,000 plus Trophy for the champion, P 800-2nd place, P 500-3rd place, P 300-4th place and P 200-5th place. 2nd to 5th placers will also receive medals. Special Award will be given to the Top BDBCC Player receiving P 300 plus medal.

In the side event, will be all members go in an exciting activity to start the FIRST NAPCA-BOC-BDBCC members chess tournament.

Allowed to participate are members of the National Association of Philippine Chess Arbiters, Inc. (NAPCA), Bureau of Customs Chess Club (BOC) and Barangay Don Bosco Chess Club (BDBCC). Winners will be receiving Cash and Gifts as prizes. For details pls. contact Dr. Bong Perez at 0919-722-7552.
