THEconsistent monthly event in more than two years of Barangay Don Bosco Chess Club will again unfold the 28th Edition of the 1^st Saturday Magnolia Non-Master Chess Tournament (1950 Below Club Rapid Rating) on July 3, Saturday 10:00am at 4th Floor Perez Building, Doña Soledad cor. Australia Sts, Better Living, Parañaque City . Sponsored by Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Vice Mayor Gus Tambunting, Congressman Roilo Golez, Barangay Don Bosco Chairman Jun Virata, Magnolia Health Tea Drinks, SM City Bicutan, Boy Francisco, Jollibee Better Living, Red Ribbon, Goldilocks, SM Hypermart and the Philippine Academy for Chess Excellence Advantage Certificates.

Guaranteed prizes; Champion P 3,000, 2nd place 2,000, 3rd place 1,000 with elegant trophies. Top category winners of Senior, Kiddies, Lady will get P 500 each and a gift pack of Magnolia products. Tournament format shall apply the Seven(7) Round Swiss System and the rate of play will be Twenty Five(25) minutes per player to finish the game. Tournament is organized by Barangay Don Bosco Chess Club (BDBCC) headed by Adviser Dr. Bong Perez.

The tournament will be supervised by Chief Arbiter Chief Arbiter Bobot Rosanto Torres with Deputy Arbiters NM Ed Agagon, Rolly Linan of the National Association of Philippine Chess Arbiters (NAPCA).
