1st METTA Cup table netfest set

THE Metropolitan Table Tennis Association (METTA) will hold the first METTA National Cup on May 27 to 29 at the National Capital Region (NCR) Police Office Badminton Court , Bagong Diwa Bicutan Taguig City .
The three-day event, organized by METTA president and former national team member Ting Ledesma, has four events – Men’s and Women’s team non-rank, Men’s and Women’s Open singles.

The tournament supported by the Filipino Chinese Table Tennis Federation (FCTTF) and NCR Police Office Regional Director PCSupt. Roberto L. Rosales is organized by METTA to promote table tennis in the country and develop friendship among players.

There are more than 300 players all over the country are expected to join the event, which deadline is set on May 20, 2009. The event is also supported by the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (TATAP).
