1st ALMANZA CHESS TEAM TOURNAMENT

THE 1st Almanza Non-Master Rapid Chess Team Tournament kicks off on June 12, 2009 at the Sports Arena of SM South Mall, Las Pinas City. Open to all groups, clubs, schools, barangays, municipalities, government agencies and private companies whose team average rating will not exceed 2050. Composition of each team shall be 4 regular players & 1 alternate (optional). Organized by the Almanza Chess Club, the tournament offers a cash prize of P20,000 plus trophy for the Champion, P12,000 plus trophy for second place, P9,000 for third place, P6,000 for fourth place and P3,000 for fifth place. Individual board winners from 1-4 shall receive P500 each plus medal. Registration fee is P3,000. Deadline for submission of entries will be on or before June 11, 2009.
