Reyes Shines again

The magician shines again in Ho Chi Minch City in Vietnam. Efren "Bata" Reyes, have his 7 title in Asian 9_Ball tour against Li He Wen of Chain in to race to 11 format.

Early of the game, Li manage the close score to Reyes up to the 10th rack in 5-5 score. Li had a bad diffence allowing the Magician to move on into 4 consecutive racks. Li try to come back 1rack but the Magician continue show his magic when he shot the 3ball caram into a corner pocket to ritch the 10-6 score. After Reyes brake the final rack, the nine ball went close to the corner pocket to give chance to Li, but He he decide quickly to a combination shot but he fail, the cue ball went cover to the other ball but Reyes show his Magic to win the Title.

The Magician pocket $10,000.00 and Li got $5,000.00.The San Miguel Asian 9-Ball Tour is the only ranking tour in Asia for players to qualify to the World Pool Championship. The top ten finishers at the end of this year's Tour will automatically enter the World Pool Championships. Adding to the stakes will be a total tour prize money purse of US$160,000 up for grabs in the four legs of the event.

In its fourth year this season, the San Miguel Asian 9-Ball Tour is offering a top prize of US$10,000 for the champion of each leg and US$5,000 to the runner-up.

This is Ho Chi Minh City's second time to play host to the San Miguel Asian 9-Ball. Their first was in 2004.

The San Miguel Asian 9-Ball Tour is sanctioned by the Asian Pocket Billiard Union and organized by ESPN STAR Sports' Event Management Group (EMG). San Miguel Beer is the title sponsor for the Tour. Iwan Simonis and Aramith supply the official tablecloth and official balls respectively. Brunswick Metro is the official pool table. STAR Sports is the official broadcaster.


Aside from Ho Chi Minh City, the 2006 Tour will go to Bangkok (June 2 - 4), Kaohsiung (August 4 - 6) and Jakarta (September 15 - 17).
